ABOUT THE
VOICE OF WA.
The findings in this report are anchored in the inaugural Voice of WA Index – a comprehensive framework that brings together four core pillars of life in Western Australia: finances, wellbeing, social connection, and cultural beliefs and aspirations.
The report focuses on how West Australians are feeling about their lives today – from their financial security and wellbeing, to their sense of belonging, values and hopes for the future. It delves into the emotional drivers shaping everyday experiences in WA, including financial confidence and stress, health and wellbeing, community connection, and perceptions of fairness, opportunity and progress across the state.
It also explores attitudes toward key social issues, government priorities, and the support systems people rely on – or feel are missing – as they navigate an increasingly complex and diverse social and economic environment.
By capturing the emotional and attitudinal landscape of life in Western Australia, this report aims to support businesses, brands and government to better understand the unique perspectives of West Australians and develop impactful strategies that genuinely resonate with the people they serve.
