The Voice of WA is Western Australia’s single source of intelligence into how people across the state think, feel, and live. We created it to provide a clearer, deeper understanding of the attitudes, experiences, and aspirations shaping life in WA today.

What does the Voice of WA Index measure?

The Voice of WA Index measures how Western Australians are experiencing life across four key dimensions. It brings these together into a single view of community sentiment and lived experience, helping reveal not just how people are doing overall, but where they are thriving and where they may be under pressure.

What are the four pillars covered in the research?

Our research is built around four core pillars that reflect the realities of everyday life in Western Australia: Finance, Social Connection, Wellbeing, and Cultural Beliefs & Aspirations.

Together, these pillars provide a holistic view of what matters most to Western Australians.

How was the research conducted?

Our research was developed in partnership with CoreData and 303 and is based on a quantitative survey of 1,002 Western Australians aged 18 and over. The sample was designed to reflect the WA population across age, gender, and location, including both metropolitan and regional respondents.
